An interactive session was organized at Nirmala Institute of Education on 19th June 2025 at 3:15 pm. The session was organised by Saksham cell under the aegis of IQAC. Renowned counsellor and Transformatonal psychologist Mrs Ketaki Parob Gadekar was the resource person for the same. Mrs Gadekar hilighted the issues and challenges faced by women in the present milieu and explicated the Laws holding and protecting women's rights.The session was attended by B. Ed and D. Ed. teacher trainees. Session was enrichong, engaging and well appreciated by all those attended it.
Bachelor of Education (B.Ed)
The Bachelor of Education Course affiliated to the Goa University , is a Teacher preparation course that prepares teachers for upper primary/ middle level classes (V – VIII), secondary level classes (IX-X) and higher secondary level classes (XI-XII)
Course Duration:
Two year fulltime course.
Course timings:
09.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
Intake Capacity:
2 Units (50 + 50) students
Eligibility
- The applicant shall be a citizen of India
- The applicant must have passed a Bachelor/ Post- Graduate Degree Examination of Goa University or an equivalent degree from any other statutory University recognized as equivalent thereto, with a minimum of fifty percent marks.
- The candidate should have offered at the Graduation, Post-graduation levels at least one school subject (English, Hindi, Konkani, Mathematics, Science, History or Geography – these being school subjects pedagogies offered at Nirmala Institute of Education.)
- The applicant should have resided in the State of Goa for a minimum period of 10 years
