As part of the nationwide campaign to commemorate the 5th Anniversary of the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) initiated by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment (DoSJE), Government of India, the Nirmala Institute of Education, Altinho-Panaji, organized a Mass Pledge activity on campus. The pledge-taking ceremony at the Institute was organized in the college auditorium on 3rd October 2025 from 2:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Second Year B.Ed. students of Nirmala Institute of Education Panaji Goa participated in the Essay writing Competition held by Anagha Wachasundar Prathisthan, Porvorim, on 19th July 2023. The following students represented the Institute - Mr.Jude Fernandes, Ms. Kirti Gaude, Ms.Kajal Parsekar and Mr. Omkar Gaonkar.
Mr. Omkar Gaonkar won the Third Prize in the Essay writing Competition.
