Kitchen Garden on the campus

The Eco Club of Nirmala Institute of Education organised a Vegetable Seed Sowing activity on the 4^th of August, 2022 in the college campus. The activity was organised with the initiative of Sr. Olga Vaz, Vice President of DHM, in collaboration with Zonal Agriculture Office, Tiswadi Goa. This activity was guided by Mr Amay Naik, (Field Assistant) and Mr Sidhant Vangarmak, (Area Technology Manager) in the presence of the Eco club mentors, Ms Daniella Colaco and Mrs Shylaja Sherief, Ms Myra Ribeiro, (Admin staff, NIE) and gardener Mr Dilip Kankonkar.

Science Club Installation and Lab Inauguration

The Science Club of Nirmala Institute of Education, Altinho, Panaji, installed its executive committee and inaugurated the NIE Science Lab on August 4, 2022. The logo and name of the Science Club—"Scinergy"—were unveiled, and the Science lab was inaugurated at the hands of Dr. Delia Antao, Officiating Principal of NIE, in the presence of the faculty, staff, and teacher trainees of the institution.

INVESTITURE CEREMONY

“Leadership is not a position but a commitment to excellence”. To inculcate the leadership qualities in the students of the D.EL.ED. Department and to give them a feel of functioning of the administrative body, the Nirmala institute of Education held its first ever investiture ceremony on the 2nd of July 2022 in the presence of the college Director Dr. Rita Paes and college officiating Principal Dr. Delia Antao. The ceremony commenced with a welcome march by the newly elected student council members. This was followed by lighting of the lamp and a prayer service.
