A session on the topic 'Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at the Workplace (PoSH) Act 2013' was conducted for the F.Y. and S.Y.B.Ed. students of Nirmala Institute of Education Panaji on 10th March 2026 at 3:00 p.m. in the NIE Hall. The session was led by Ms. Priya Shirodkar and Ms. Abigail Fernandes, students of LLB and members of the PoSH Compliance Clinic of V.M. Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar who shared valuable knowledge and guidance on the importance of creating a safe and respectful workplace environment for women.

Applications with full bio-data are invited from eligible candidates for one post of Assistant Professor in the Methodology of Teaching Science (General Category) for the Bachelor of Education Programme on contract basis (CCL) (upto 30/6/2022). Walk in interview to be conducted on 7th January, 2022 at 10.30 a.m.
Qualifications
1. Postgraduate degree in Science with minimum 55% marks,
and
2. M.Ed. with minimum 55% marks.
Desirable: Ph.D. degree in Education with subject specialisation.
The candidate must have cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC or the CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SET. Candidates should be conversant with the use of online platforms and the latest technology in teaching.
Essential: Certificate of 15 years residence in Goa and knowledge of Konkani
Desirable: Knowledge of Marathi
Qualifications, conditions and salary as prescribed by U.G.C./Goa University, Directorate of Higher Education, Govt. of Goa, NCTE and other competent authorities and as amended from time to time.
The above post will be filled subject to the approval of academic eligibility from Goa University and approval from the Directorate of Higher Education, Govt. of Goa.
