The session on Humane Education was organised in the context of the recent directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India concerning the management of the stray dog menace and public awareness. Taking note of the increasing incidence of dog bite cases, particularly in and around educational institutions and other public spaces, the Hon’ble Court has emphasised the need for scientific awareness, responsible community participation, rabies prevention, vaccination and humane management of stray dogs in accordance with the law.
Placement Cell
The Nirmala Institute of Education has started a Placement Cell from the academic year 2019-2020. The Institute has been receiving requests from schools for trained teachers. The
Placement Cell has been started in order to have a system in place to attend to such requests. Besides the Placement Cell will provide a platform for educational institutions within the State, at the National and International level to recruit students of this Institute. The Institute helps each student in exploring placement opportunities by permitting various educational Institutions for campus recruitment of students who are in the final year of the programme and are likely to graduate at the end of the academic year.
OBJECTIVES OF TRAINING AND PLACEMENT CELL:
- To provide information about employment opportunities to the students.
- To act as a liaison between this institution, alumni and employers.
- To provide professional training and support to students seeking employment.
