Nirmala Institute of Education organized a Human Rights and Advocacy Session on 5th January 2026 for the First Year B.Ed. students. The session was conducted by Br. Tino who guided the students through key concepts related to human rights and social responsibility. The programme was attended by the Principal, faculty members, and First Year teacher trainees.
‘Choose your own adventure’ Community Camp at Don Bosco High School, Oros, Maharashtra.
The students of first year D.El.Ed. of Nirmala Institute of Education attended a 4-day community camp at Don Bosco High School, Oros Maharashtra from 5th to 8th November 2022.
During the camp the students organized different community programs that included raising public awareness about the various government schemes like Beti Bachao Beti Padao, Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bhima Yojana, Atal Pension Yojana and Poshan Abhiyan available for welfare of the people.
They also raised awareness on environmental issues and women rights through a role play, dance and songs. The program also included an interactive session for the community of people giving them guidance on ways of availing the different government schemes.
The camp also gave the students an opportunity to work on their team building skills through different activities conducted. The camp also included different sessions that focused on the importance of community service, hiking, zumba and the importance of keeping the surrounding clean.
