Exhibition on 'पावसाळ्यांतलें पुश्टीक देणें'

An Exhibition titled 'पावसाळ्यांतलें पुश्टीक देणें', म्हजे मातयेची गिरेस्तकाय based on seasonal vegetables was held on 16th August 2023 at Nirmala Institute of Education Panaji by the F.Y.B.Ed. students of Konkani Language Education, under the aegis of IQAC NIE.

It was conceptualized by the faculty of konkani Language Education, Mrs. Suvarna Gauns, Associate Professor at NIE.

The objective of the exhibition was to familiarize the B.Ed. students with the seasonal vegetables that grow during the Monsoon Season.The students gathered information related to these vegetables, displayed various fresh vegetables that grow mostly during the monsoon season and prepared different vegetable items for this display.The nutritional benefits along with the traditional recipes were also highlighted.

कांय ताज्यो भाजयो आनी थोड्यो शिजोवन, प्रदर्शनांत मांडिल्ल्यो. देखीक:  अळसांदयांची, म्हशींग/शेगूल आनी ताच्यो सांगो, किल्ल, दुदयाचीं पानां आनी फुलां, हुड्डू-कुड्डू, पांच पानांची, म्हस्काच्या पाल्याची, रान भाजी/पेवा, आळू/तेरें, अळमीं, चुरणाच्या पाल्याची, ताळकुळो/ताळकिळो,घोसाळीं,कारातीं, भेंडे, वालीची आनी हेर भाजयो. 

The exhibits were arranged on banana and turmeric leaves. Some of the cooked vegetable items were also offered to taste.

The Officiating Principal of NIE Dr.Delia Antao congratulated the students for this endeavor.

This exhibition served as a canvas for students' creativity.

Ms.Heidi Fernandes and Ms.Marushka Fernandes were the overall in-charge of this project based activity. All the F.Y.B.Ed. konkani pedagogy students contributed wholeheartedly and worked as a team towards the success of this exhibition.
