Geography Day Celebration
The Geography Day event on February 20, 2024, themed "Wanderer's Odyssey," organized by second year B.Ed. students under Ms. Daniella Colaco's guidance, unfolded as a captivating play interwoven with music and dance. Attendees embarked on virtual journeys to Peru's Rainbow Mountains, New Zealand's Glowworm Cave, and Africa's Koi San Tribe, immersing themselves in the wonders of geography and culture. Through vivid performances, participants gained insights into geological formations, bioluminescent ecosystems, and indigenous traditions, highlighting the interconnectedness of humanity and the natural world. The event's main takeaway resonated deeply: the true treasure is found in safeguarding our planet, Mother Earth. With each rhythmic movement and melodious note, attendees were inspired to embrace environmental stewardship, cherishing and celebrating the abundant treasures of our world.
