The Training and Internship Placement (TIP) Cell of Nirmala Institute of Education successfully organized a 4-day Student Skilling Program in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector from 23rd to 27th March 2026, with a holiday observed on 26th March 2026 on the occasion of Ram Navami.
Greening Our Campus: NIE-Eco Club's Vana Mahotsav Tree Plantation Drive
The NIE-Eco Club marked Vana Mahotsav on 17th July, 2024 with a tree plantation drive on campus, aligned with the year's (2024) theme of 'Land restoration, desertification, and drought resilience' under the slogan 'Our Land, Our Future'. Dr. Delia Antao, the officiating Principal, led the participation, joined by faculty, administrative staff, and Eco-Club students. Plant saplings were distributed to students during the event.
The primary aim of the initiative was to underscore the importance of collective action in nurturing and protecting our environment. The college community actively engaged in the event, demonstrating their commitment to sustainability and ecological stewardship.
