The NIE-Eco Club marked Vana Mahotsav on 17th July, 2024 with a tree plantation drive on campus, aligned with the year's (2024) theme of 'Land restoration, desertification, and drought resilience' under the slogan 'Our Land, Our Future'. Dr. Delia Antao, the officiating Principal, led the participation, joined by faculty, administrative staff, and Eco-Club students. Plant saplings were distributed to students during the event.
THE LARGE ORIGAMI CHALLENGE
OBJECTIVE: To ascertain that the F.Y. B.Ed trainees has understood, practised and executed the various origami folds and basic forms. The large Origami challenge is to stretch the limits and possibilities of the trainees' creative potentials.
TASK:
-To create a large FLAT / 3D / MODULAR Origami Form either geometric or organic.
-The size of the forms should be larger than 2x2 ft to 4x4ft (60x60cms /100x100cms) or more.
-Each Pedagogy Group has to prepare minimum of 2 forms.
-The forms executed will be displayed during the Art Day celebrations
