The Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Government of India, in collaboration with the Department of Social Welfare, Government of Goa, organized a special programme under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan (NMBA). The initiative aimed to create widespread awareness among youth and the general public about the harmful effects of drug abuse and to encourage a drug-free lifestyle through cultural engagement and community participation.
SAVE SOIL PROGRAM
The program was about the Government of Goa signing an MOU with ISHA Foundation. The Chief Minister spoke about the governments initiative in various sectors for sustainable development. The Founder of Isha Foundation Jaggi Vasudev-Sandguru called upon the young generation to stand up for the cause of safeguarding the environment and contribute to its sustainability.
Total 27 F.Y B.Ed Trainees attended the Save Soil Movement program held on 23/8/2022 at DR. SHYAMA PRASAD MUKHERJEE STADIUM, BAMBOLIM.
The Faculty Representatives - Mr. Raymond Pereira and Ms. Daniella Colaco co-ordinated the program participation with Mrs. Shylaja Sherief.
