The session on Humane Education was organised in the context of the recent directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India concerning the management of the stray dog menace and public awareness. Taking note of the increasing incidence of dog bite cases, particularly in and around educational institutions and other public spaces, the Hon’ble Court has emphasised the need for scientific awareness, responsible community participation, rabies prevention, vaccination and humane management of stray dogs in accordance with the law.

The session was planned under the auspices of-Dr. Delia Antao (Officiating Principal) as an initiative by- NIE SWACHHATA ABHIYAN CELL & ECO-CLUB The objective of the session was to inculcate in the B.Ed. trainees an entrepreneurial skill with all the basic know-how of Block Printing techniques and materials.
