The Training and Internship Placement (TIP) Cell of Nirmala Institute of Education successfully organized a 4-day Student Skilling Program in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector from 23rd to 27th March 2026, with a holiday observed on 26th March 2026 on the occasion of Ram Navami.

A session was held on ‘The Importance of Ayurveda and Yoga in Promoting a Healthy and Happy Life’ on 24 July 2023 in the NIE Hall. The resource person was Dr. Pratiksha Prabhudessai, a well-qualified Ayurveda practitioner and wellness speaker.
Dr. Prabhudessai was introduced and accorded a floral welcome. The talk served as a caution against neglecting one’s health, and reminded participants to practise self-care on a daily basis. By being wary of their eating, sleeping and exercise patterns, they were encouraged to adopt an active lifestyle. Teacher Trainee Jude Fernandes proposed a vote of thanks, and conveyed his gratitude to Ms. Pratiksha Shirodkar, Assistant Professor at NIE, for coordinating this session.
