The NIE-Eco Club marked Vana Mahotsav on 17th July, 2024 with a tree plantation drive on campus, aligned with the year's (2024) theme of 'Land restoration, desertification, and drought resilience' under the slogan 'Our Land, Our Future'. Dr. Delia Antao, the officiating Principal, led the participation, joined by faculty, administrative staff, and Eco-Club students. Plant saplings were distributed to students during the event.
REPORT OF THE SESSION ON 'DOODLES'
As part of the curriculum and under the aegis of the NIE Internal Quality Assurance Cell -IQAC; the Faculty of Art & Aesthetics -Visual Arts Mr. Raymond Pereira conducted a session on 'DOODLES' from 2nd-4th January 2024 for the B.Ed. Trainees, ushering the year with color.
A doodle is a drawing made while a person's attention is otherwise occupied. Doodles are simple drawings that can have concrete representational meaning or may just be composed of random and abstract lines, shapes or color.
The objective of the session was to let the trainees explore the creative self and express their feelings through color.
The students of St.Claret College, Ziro Arunachal Pradesh also participated in the above session.
The students with their faculty were on campus for an academic and cultural exchange programme with Nirmala Institute of Education.
