On Tuesday, June 25, 2024, the SAKSHAM Cell, under the aegis of IQAC, organised an enlightening session at NIE centered on Women's Rights. The session's primary aim was to raise awareness among teacher-trainees and imbue them with knowledge concerning various facets of women's rights.

Alumni Association of Nirmala Institute of Education
The Alumni Association of Nirmala Institute of Education was officially registered on July 23, 2021. Our alumni association is a vibrant and dynamic community of former students who continue to share a strong bond with the institute.
The association aims to foster a lifelong relationship between the institute and its alumni, providing a platform for networking, professional development, and personal growth. Through various events, seminars, and initiatives, we strive to create opportunities for our alumni to stay connected, contribute to the institute, and support each other in their professional endeavors.
Our alumni have always been an integral part of our success story, and the establishment of this association marks a significant milestone in our journey. We look forward to building a thriving community where our alumni can collaborate, share their experiences, and inspire the next generation of educators.
Aims and Objectives
The aims and Objectives for which the Association is established are:
a) To provide a central organization for the members of the Association.
b) To promote personal and friendly relations among the members of the Association and to hold meetings of the Association for studying and discussing problems bearing upon the work, theory and practice relating to the teaching profession and education in general.
c) To establish a library of books and periodicals, and to associate with institutions or organizations with similar aims and objectives.
d) To generate funds, accept donations, gifts and legacies for the furtherance of the aims and objectives of this Association.
e) To collect, publish and disseminate such information as may prove useful to the present students of the Institute of Education and to be the members of the Association.
f) To promote tours and excursions for the members of this Association.
g) To collect such text-books and other books as may be useful to the present students of the Institute of Education for the pursuing of their studies, and to the members of the Association to be distributed at the discretion of the Executive Committee, the books so collected remain the property of the Association.
h) To award prizes, bursaries and scholarships to the present students of this Institute of Education with the approval of its Executive Committee.
1) To advise and assist in securing employment for the past ex-students of this Institute of Education through a Placement Cell.
j) To do all things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the above aims and objectives; and
k) Generally to do all such things as from time to time may be necessary to maintain the status, promote and encourage the furtherance of the interests of the present students of this Institute of Education and the members of the Association.
