Under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC), Rooted to Rise: An Interactive Self-Discovery Workshop was conducted for all the FY B. Ed students by Ms. Shanice Lourenço, College Counsellor. The workshop aimed to promote self-awareness, foster meaningful relationships with self and others, and familiarise students with the counselling services available on campus.
Tree plantation Drive 2024
On July 12, 2024, Nirmala Institute of Education, in collaboration with the Goa Forest Department North Goa Division, Panaji Range, conducted a successful tree plantation drive as part of the Vanmahotsav 2024 celebration. The event focused on planting various fruit-bearing trees chosen for their ecological benefits and potential to provide nutritional fruit. Faculty, staff, and students from the B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. programs actively participated in this activity. The collaboration with the Goa Forest Department was instrumental, providing the saplings. The event not only enhanced the green cover of the region but also fostered a sense of environmental responsibility and community spirit among participants.
