The Training and Internship Placement (TIP) Cell of Nirmala Institute of Education successfully organized a 4-day Student Skilling Program in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector from 23rd to 27th March 2026, with a holiday observed on 26th March 2026 on the occasion of Ram Navami.
ORNAMENTAL PLANTS SALE
The NIE Swachhata Abhiyan Cell and Eco-Club initiated an ‘Ornamental Plants Sale’ in campus the from 25th -27th August 2022.
The purpose of the program was to create awareness among the trainees and general public about the love for nature and care for plants. The sale was opened in the presence of Sr.Olga Vaz-Vice President Nirmala Education Society, Dr.Delia Antao - Officiating Principal, the NIE-SAC Team - Mr.Subodh Haldankar, Mr.Raymond Pereira and ECO-CLUB Team-Ms. Shylaja Sherief, Ms.Daniella Colaco.
The trainees and the general public were briefed about the various plants, their care, maintenance and propagation by Ms. Myra Rebeiro (Admin Staff) and Mr. Dilip Kankonkar (Gardener).
The event was conceptualised by Mr. Raymond Pereira (NIE-SAC Coordinator) together with the team.
