The Nirmala Institute of Education, Altinho, Panaji, Goa, in collaboration with the Directorate of Higher Education, Government of Goa, successfully organised a Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Research Methodology from the 25th to the 29th of November 2024. The programme aimed at enhancing the research capabilities of Faculty members from various institutions across the State and beyond, equipping them with the required knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to effectively conduct and contribute towards academic research.
The Atmashodha Counseling Centre at Nirmala Institute organised a Panel Discussion - The Digital Age Dilemma – Balancing Social Media with Mental Health. A diverse panel of experts gathered on 9th October 2024 to explore the complex relationship between social media and mental health - the panel had professionals from social media, psychology, psychiatry, law and included a student who shared the youth perspective
The D.El.Ed. section of Nirmala Institute of Education commemorated Gandhi Jayanthi and Shastri Jayanti with a profound blend of inspiration, creativity, and reflection, paying tribute to the timeless legacies of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. The event unfolded as a vibrant celebration of values, echoing Gandhi’s words, “Be the change that you wish to see in the world.”
