Workshop on Video Making for F.Y.B.Ed. Teacher Trainees

The Nirmala Institute of Education under the aegis of the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) organised a Workshop on Video Making for the F.Y.B.Ed Teacher Trainees. It was held on 14th July 2023 in the NIE Hall from 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM

The Coordinator and Resource Person for the workshop was Mr. Subodh Haldankar, Assistant Professor at Nirmala Institute of Education. Eighty one teacher trainees were present for the workshop.

The workshop focused on creating and editing videos using a mobile phone. In the workshop the teacher trainees were introduced to an app called VITA on their devices. VITA app has many features which were elucidated by the Resource Person, one at a time. The trainees were familiarized with the use of each of these features. 

Mr. Haldankar also highlighted the importance of using videos during the Teaching Learning Process and how they can be used to capture the students’ interest in the topic.

All the teacher trainees made interesting videos during the workshop. Some of the trainees who did not know how to make videos were also happy that they could make beautiful videos and edit them at the end of the workshop.

The Workshop was well organised and well conducted. Every aspect of video making and video editing was covered during the workshop by Mr. Haldankar.
