The Department of Physical Education and Sports, Nirmala Institute of Education, Altinho-Panaji, under the aegis of IQAC, organized the 12th International Day of Yoga
on 21st June, Sunday, 2026 from 9.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. in the B.Ed. Hall. The programme was conducted in accordance with the theme “Yoga for Healthy
Ageing: Transforming Daily Habit into a Culture of Wellness.” Students and staff enthusiastically participated in the celebration.
World Environmental Day Celebration 2022
On the occasion of World Environment Day and in-keeping with this year’s theme for the same - ‘Only One Earth’ , the NIE-SAC and the Eco Club organised a sapling planting ceremony on the 6 th of June 2022 on the college campus. The Officiating Principal, Dr. Delia Antao along with the Faculty and the Administrative Staff participated in the activity with great enthusiasm. The objective behind this activity is to do our bit to make our Earth greener and cleaner by fulfilling our collective responsibility to nurture and safeguard our environment.
