Goy Asmitai Dis, commemorating the historic 1967 Opinion Poll in Goa, was celebrated at Nirmala Institute of Education on 14 January 2026. As part of the celebration, Dr. Russell D’Souza, Principal of Nirmala Institute of Education, addressed the gathering, followed by an insightful session by the renowned speaker and historian, Mr. Sanjeev V. Sardesai.
ART GALLERY VISIT held on the 10 / 12 /13 April 2023
As part of the Art & Aesthetics-Visual Arts session on Art Appreciation for the S.Y B.Ed. course, the Teacher Trainees had a guided curatorial art tour at the Fundação Oriente -Art Gallery, Panjim. The Art Gallery hosted the permanent collection of artworks by renowned Goan Artist Mr. Antonio Xavier Trindade (1870-1935).
The session was conducted by the Mr. Raymond Pereira, Asst. Professor in Visual Arts, Nirmala Institute of Education.
