The Department of Physical Education and Sports, Nirmala Institute of Education, Altinho-Panaji, under the aegis of IQAC, organized the 12th International Day of Yoga
on 21st June, Sunday, 2026 from 9.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. in the B.Ed. Hall. The programme was conducted in accordance with the theme “Yoga for Healthy
Ageing: Transforming Daily Habit into a Culture of Wellness.” Students and staff enthusiastically participated in the celebration.
Tree Plantation and Sapling Distribution Drive July 2023
The Eco Club and Swachata Abhiyan Cell of Nirmala Institute of Education in collaboration with YUVA and One World Organization organised a Tree Plantation and Sapling Distribution Drive on the 5th of July 2023.
More than 100 free saplings were distributed to the student of the first and second year B.Ed. Mr. Vishvesh Naique Gaunekar, Secretary of One World Organization was the Chief Guest for the function. Also present were Mr. Raghuvir Mahale, founder of YUVA, other member of YUVA, management, faculty, staff and students of Nirmala Institute of Education.
