The Department of Physical Education and Sports, Nirmala Institute of Education, Altinho-Panaji, under the aegis of IQAC, organized the 12th International Day of Yoga
on 21st June, Sunday, 2026 from 9.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. in the B.Ed. Hall. The programme was conducted in accordance with the theme “Yoga for Healthy
Ageing: Transforming Daily Habit into a Culture of Wellness.” Students and staff enthusiastically participated in the celebration.
A Seed Sowing Week
A Seed Sowing Week was organized by the Eco club of Nirmala Institute of Education from the 9th to 15th August 2023. During this week long activity, the club members sowed seeds of various vegetables like Amaranth leaves(Tamdi bhaji), lady finger, tomatoes, and green chillies. The plants will be nurtured throughout by them.
