THE BRAHMAND 2025 EVENT

The Brahmand event, organized by the Geography Department of Harmal Pancharoshi Shikshan Mandal's Ganpat Parsekar College of Education, Harmal – Pernem, was held on 11th January and showcased the impressive talents of our students.

Pooja Velip and Rucha Desai secured 1st place in the Quiz, with Rucha also winning 1st place in the Documentary. Grace David earned 3rd place in PowerPoint Presentation, and Jeslyn Silva bagged 3rd place in the Surprise Event. The team also participated in Canvas Painting (Nitisha Carvalho and Tresita Gomes), Photography (Melvica Mendes), Jigsaw Puzzle (Aarti Gaonkar and Marcifa Fernandes), and Model Making (Flexia Dias).

In group events, the Mime team, consisting of Prasidhi Gawas, Melvica Mendes, Nitisha Carvalho, Pritiya Velip, and Jeslyn Silva, secured 2nd place. The Fashion Show team, which included all participants—Prasidhi Gawas, Melvica Mendes, Nitisha Carvalho, Pritiya Velip, Jeslyn Silva, Tresita Gomes, Grace David, Marcifa Fernandes, Aarti Gaonkar, Flexia Dias, Pooja Velip, and Rucha Desai—also earned 2nd place, with special thanks to Michelle Luis for her contribution to makeup and props.

The event was an excellent educational opportunity for the students, offering them exposure to a competitive environment, engaging geographical knowledge, and a profoundly enriching learning experience.

The team was guided by Assistant Professors Dwayne Fernandes and Gautami Khandeparkar, whose mentorship played a crucial role in their success. We also extend our heartfelt gratitude to our Principal, Dr. Delia Antao, for her unwavering support and encouragement, which motivated the team to perform their best.

The event was a memorable experience, highlighting the students' hard work, creativity, and teamwork.
