The Training and Internship Placement (TIP) Cell of Nirmala Institute of Education successfully organized a 4-day Student Skilling Program in the Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance (BFSI) sector from 23rd to 27th March 2026, with a holiday observed on 26th March 2026 on the occasion of Ram Navami.
St. Xavier’s College- Mapusa Goa and Nirmala Institute of Education Panjim, collaborated in organising a session for the FY & SY B.Com students of St. Xavier’s College- Mapusa Goa on the 23/3/2026 from 10:45am-11:45am. The programme was an outcome of the MOU signed between the two institutions under the Xavier Board of Higher Education Institution. The resource person was CA Mr. Xavier D’Mello, presently working as an accountant at Nirmala Institute of Education Panjim, Goa.
A session on the topic 'Prevention of Sexual Harassment of Women at the Workplace (PoSH) Act 2013' was conducted for the F.Y. and S.Y.B.Ed. students of Nirmala Institute of Education Panaji on 10th March 2026 at 3:00 p.m. in the NIE Hall. The session was led by Ms. Priya Shirodkar and Ms. Abigail Fernandes, students of LLB and members of the PoSH Compliance Clinic of V.M. Salgaocar College of Law, Miramar who shared valuable knowledge and guidance on the importance of creating a safe and respectful workplace environment for women.

A very meaningful workshop on “Legal Rights and Empowerment of Minority Communities in Goa: Challenges and Perspectives” was organised by Goa University Manohar Parrikar School of Law, Governance and Public Policy & UGC centre for the study of social inclusion of D. D. Kosambi School of Social Sciences and Behavioural studies in collaboration with Directorate of Equal Opportunity & Nirmala Institute of Education, Panaji -Goa on 13th February 2026 at 9.30 a.m. The workshop was attended by the F. Y. B. Ed. and S. Y. B.Ed.
